Positive: Breakfast, Frühstück, ontbijt: very good. Much better than breakfast Standard in Italy. Location. Not far from beaches. Free parking. Nice views. Good looking pool and surrounding. Some guests complain about steep roads, which is not really true. There are two ways to get to the hotel!! If you go the right more or less half way leaving the „main road“ up, you will face a very small and narrow road sometimes. STAY on the main road and go to the right just before you enter the village and see the highway deeply below. Then you will face a quite good and easy to follow road! Youngest employee at reception, Nadir and Cleaning staff are very friendly and helpful. We booked a junior suite. Airco was good, but not located ideally. Bed ok, pillows also. First room was not as good as the room we got after a lamp suddenly fell from the wall and smashed in 1000 pieces. We were very fortunate that we we or our little son who played below just before on the ground have not been injured, which might have been severly. The youngest employee at the reception gave us a new room just before he left. We had to move a lot of unpacked stuff very carefully due to all the broken glass and our kid could not sleep for hours. As an unpleasant surprise the reception told us to move to another room the next morning. We refused of course. No apologies, we thought it was a joke, but they were really serious. We have never ever experienced such UNfriendly, UNprofessional and disrespectful behaviour of a hotel. When checking out the same reception even wanted to charge 5 Euros for a bottle of water we didn‘t have. I almost payed, but luckily I asked why? and in the end I did not pay. Inspite of the negative experiences we enjoyed our stay.
Negative: A big lack of friendliness! Only a few employees were friendly. Not related to the hotel: extremely sad in Italy: all the private beaches, making benefit of normal people. What is the next step? Paying to see the sea or trees or mountains??? We noticed a lot of unfriendliness (lack of smile, friendliness) in this part of Italy. Reason? High season/Stress??? The hotel is ok, but clearly had better times. A renovation here and there would be good. The rome rate per night is extremely too high. Inspite of high season and the every day Discounts. Shower and bath room unusual, narrow, dark. Like many guests say: the pool has a nice colour, but is absolutely not clean, not clear, not hygienic. To be honest we did not bother much, but the water is full of ? Remains of skin? Trees? Dirt?
Summary: Hotel ok, breakfast, airco, bed good. Not friendly. employees urgently need a smile and Hospitality

Positive: the rooms are spacious and the kingsize bed is comfortable (even if a little hard). The surroundings are pleasant and the overall atmosphere is of quietude. The (free) parking spaces are right by your room and 11am check out is decent. Decent fridge and good aircon.
Negative: although very close to the highway on a map, the drive from the highway exit to the resort is a 10km long winding road on the steep hillsides of the Ligurian coast. Avoid doing it at night if you can.
Summary: good value for money stopover address despite the long road to the highway.
